Low Tide Blues

Walking Out

If surfing was on your agenda this morning you might find yourself with a case of a the low-tide blues. There's a hint of swell hanging in there from yesterday's delightful bump but low tide just ain't giving it a chance to shine. If you've got a clear schedule, mid morning might be worth a look as the banks take on a little more water.

The sun on the other hand is shinning at full spring strength. It's glorious day out there with light winds and bucket loads of spring sunshine.
If you're into the whomp, you'll already know that the Festival of Froth is kicking off this Friday at Avalon Beach. The event is a two day body surfing festival featuring one of only 2 events in Australia that act as a qualifier for the first ever International Bodysurfing Association’s (IBSA) world titles that will be in Hawaii next year.

With these early draining tides, everyone's a body surfer this week... have a good one!
