Working the field
It's another wet morning out there. I spent the morning dodging showers, trying to find a dry spot to shoot and bank that was doing it. Theres no shortage of swell! It's 4 foot plus, south and mostly straight on the early low-tide. Despite a howling forecast, the wind's being mostly kind to us in Manly; maybe the showers are dampening it a touch; maybe there's a touch of west in it.
The SurfAid Cup in on at North Steyne today and the fundraising teams are pairing up with the pros to see who doing to raise the cup for 2020. I reckon the waves will get better as the weather settles so it could be well and truely on! Get down and watch Wilko, Ace and a bunch of young local rippers battle it out for a cause.
Seems weird to say but summer is only weeks away, Christmas is just around the corner and we'll be stepping into 2021 before you know it.
