Between

Vert

After the rain and before the southerly there were some moments of quality waves about this morning. I spent the first part of the morning drenching in the rain; it was like a full-body thirst quench after enduring days of humidity.  I reckon there's got to be something therapeutic about a summer downpour: the sound, the feeling, the smell.

After the dousing I tried to take some photos but I found myself dodging the odd lingering shower pushing across so put the tools down and went surfing; if you can't shoot them; join them!  We've got a mix of leftover NE swell and little bump in south swell making for fun peaky waves.

Outside my window it looks as through the southerly has set in now... might still be worth a glance.
