Morning! How you guys doing? It's been a week since my last post and a whole lot has changed. We've flipped the calendar over to October, nudged the clocks forward an hour and the first wave of COVID restrictions have been eased turning picnics into festivals. There's a whole lot of pent up socialisation bursting forth and you get the feeling like it's going to be a spring/summer like no other.

The weather over the long weekend was perfection with ocean, sunshine and shade on rotation from sunrise to sunset. This morning we've got another sensational day going on out there. The east swell is hanging in there at shoulder-to-waist high and we've got a light offshore. There's some weird sandbanks and deep rips about so timing the tide and finding the right pile of sand is critical.
