Bit of a grey and dreary morning out on the sand. It wasn't raining, just the odd drizzle with but apparently the showers are coming later. The waves were pretty lacklustre at first light but it you ever wanted to surf Manly solo this morning was your best shot at it. And, some people make 1ft onshore wind swell look pretty fun!

The good news is tomorrow's looking way better on the wave front. The forecast is for a jump in swell mostly from the east and a lightish northerly in the morning. Should be plenty of punch to it, good conditions for the Misit Surfboards Demo Day kicking off at 9am from their store at 195 Pittwater Rd. It's just a short dash from the sand at Queenscliff so you'll have plenty of chance to mix and match some sleds to your liking.
