Oh yeah, it's another cracker of the morning out there! Warm water? Yep! Sunshine? Bucket loads! Waves? Si Si! All the elements are there for your surfing pleasure. The water's got to be about as warm as it's ever been in Sydney; feels a bit like a swim in the shallows at Byron Bay or north of the border. La Niña, warming oceans or local currents? I don't know - seems weird but hey, kind of hard to complain about surfing in boardshorts right?

Some time today we're going to be hit by a stiff southerly change. It'll be coming in strong at 25 knots and it's going to whip up the Tasman. The forecast is for 6 to 10ft plus of south swell across the weekend and the wind's look reasonable light on Sunday. We could be on!
