Happy Friday to you! I know it's been a long week back on the tools but we're almost across the line and into another weekend. Just a few more hours and two days of summer await..

Hopefully you managed to roll out of bed and catch a bit of that colourful pre-sunrise sky, there were some vivid colours over the ocean for the wake up session.

There's no shortage of swell around but it's a touch unruly and unorganised this morning. It's your typical summer wind-swell conditions; lumpy, bumpy with the odd good one. Over the weekend we should see a little more power as the period jumps and the NE swell ramps up. Should be options, might even get really good once the wind settles down.

No Sprout next week. We're hitting the road to do a little trip north that we'd planned to do before lockdown put the skids on it. Surfing, camping, friends, family...
