The nor-easter has been up all night tapping at the windows and whipping up a nuggety little swell in the process. It's not particularly big at this stage but you'll know about it as you're duck-diving out into the line up. There's plenty of short period energy out in the water; hopefully enough to shift a bit of sand about as the sandbanks could sure do with a little shuffle.

There's the odd clean face and wedgy peak to be found out of the wind if you're keen.
