Shelter
Morning!
Time to shake off the sleep, prepare to get wet and step out into the weather. We're in for a soaking, and some moments of wild wind and swell. This morning's the calm before the downpour; by commuter hour this afternoon Sydney will be dripping wet. Let's hope the farmers out west are getting their share too!
The best place to hide out from the rain and southerly is up to your neck in saltwater and deep in the recesses Manly's southern corner. It's the domain of the daily swimmers and pint-sized grommet and there were plenty of both competing for limited resources this morning. There's a fun little NE wind swell out there, get into while the wind's still moderate.
Tomorrow the swell will jump thanks to 30knots of winds - we'll see if there's any options.
