Maaaate!
Maaaate, should have been here yesterday! Or the day before it you had the constitution for it! What a weekend of waves in Sydney! A powerful south swell roared up the coast on Friday evening and by Saturday morning it was peaking at 6m+. While it was raw at first light, the wind added an angle of west to it and it just got better and better as the day went on. Saturday's are a shop day for me so I missed eye-balling the action but if you want to see a raw unedited blow-by-blow account, take 6minutes of your day to watch this clip. Some serious charging going down!
This morning it's back to your regular programming with only a faint hint of long period south swell lines still on the Tasman. A perfect morning if you're a small-wave charger like me!
The sun's out and we're heading to 28 degrees in Sydney today. Tomorrow the sun's going to shine with of top of 25. Three days of sunshine in a row - what's going on!!
