After a night of roaring southerlies the south swell is in town and it's packing some punch. Conditions are a whole different story to yesterday's afternoon's bonus pulse of nor-east swell that saw pretty much everywhere from North Steyne to Winki in fine form. Today's it's raw and less user-friendly. But, if you put in the work and are prepared to take a few punches, duck a few rogues and get back on your feet, there's good ones to be had - really good!
The next couple of days are going to get interesting as a 6m swell builds and pushes up the coast. It's forecast to peak on Saturday morning at 6.6m at 13 seconds - that's a solid one! Wind's going to be strong but with an angle of offshore there could be some big clean waves around!
