:: 30 Something

Think it's been a hot year so far? Typically, Sydney will average 3 days of temperatures 30 degrees or higher in January.  This year we've had 14 days already and if tomorrow hit its forecast of 36 degrees that'll make it 15. Something going on you reckon? After a foggy start to the day it's come good. The sun's burnt off the low cloud and there's a cool sea-breeze if you're close enough to feel its effects. The latest BOM observations put Penrith at 40 degrees while Sydney Harbour was a very cool 25 degrees.

If you're keen for a paddle, the sea-breeze is pushing in a little Nor-East wind swell along with walls of bluebottles.
