These post 7am sunrises are a treat if you covet a sleep in. However if you prefer a paddle before the work and school commitments swing into view, it's a tight squeeze getting your quota before the hourglass empties. Only a few more days to go and we'll claw back an hour of light in the morning. That's good news for the early birds!

Today's the last day of east swell before the big southerly change arrives and the swell ramps up rapidly from the south. There's plenty of east swell left out there although the 7:45 high-tide was adding a fair amount of wobble to it. It should improve by mid-morning as long as the wind doesn't spoil the party.

Plenty of swell, wind and weather to come over the next few days.
