Did you catch that little bit of dawn colour this morning? We've had so many muted sunrises this summer that even a hint of colour in the morning is like a breath of fresh air. The early morning sky had peach and apricot hues and just a wisp of light clouds. Quite a delight for the early birds.

There wasn't much in the way of surf to be had at Manly this morning. Conditions were offshore and perfect but there was barely enough swell to get your log skimming across the low-tide sandbank. Maybe mid-tide will have a little more energy; wind's still light and offshore...
