Wonderful Life
Morning! How you doing? We've made it through another week - Phew! Seems like heaps has been happening this week if you've been listening to the news. Lockdowns, elections, restrictions being lifted and hotspots flaring up - it's all happening! On the beach at Manly, life goes on uninterrupted - same sunshine, beautiful ocean, tide coming in and out with the moon. We're lucky!
Yesterday afternoon I saw a pedestrian hit by a car; just crossing the road in the warm afternoon sun, at the lights, green walk signal and all. Maybe the driver was distracted, maybe they had the sun in their eyes, who knows. But, it makes you realise things can change in an instance; we're all a fragile bunch in the face of hunks of steel we move around in. We've all got to take care of each other as best we can; don't be distracted, don't be in a rush, everyone's a mum, day, son or daughter.
The waves are tiny today but it looked like a bunch of fun out there. We're talking knee-high runners to the sand! Get your log, and go far!
In the words of the late Damien Lovelock... "it's such a wonderful life"! - Enjoy
