Garden Path
For a flat day it didn't take much looking to find waves. Three headlands and a stroll down the garden path on a Monday morning ain't no chore, especially when the sun's shining. There's just enough swell and headland wedge to ramp up the odd peak and send it spiralling down a well shaped subaqueous sandbank. It was a game of patience and percentages with a decent payoff of four turns to the sand.
The change should add a little energy back into the ocean with a bump (2ft) in south swell from late afternoon and into tomorrow. As for surfing this morning... good luck out there.
Looks like a week of small surf, offshore wind and plenty of sunshine.
