Cool, mellow morning out on the sand today. The overnight wind has groomed the beach smooth and there's just the tiniest hint of East swell sneaking in under the sou-wester. We're talking ankle-biters; good for the grommets and any board over 9ft. The water's cool but well worth a dip. It's the best way to start the day, even better in our current situation.
