One More...

Soft Winter Light

I've been pretty quiet with the post's this month (i'm calling it a hibernation/sabbatical) but these winter morning's have been just so pleasant I couldn't resist the opportunity to capture at least one more. The forecast for the rest of the week is looking a little dodgy so it was this morning was singng out to me. That soft light and calm offshore winds are a signature of Sydney winter mornings and with the season in transition we'll miss them when they're gone.

On the ocean we've got a little leftover long period south swell and the wind is light from the north-west. Anywhere where south-facing should have something on offer today. Out of the water there's plentiful of sunshine and a top temp of 22 degrees.

A couple of things to take note of:

  • Declan and Tully are currently down at Bells awaiting the first call of stop #2 of the World Longboard Tour which is likely to kick off tomorrow morning. Declan is first heat of the first round.

  • SurfAid's Make A Wave is kicking off Friday this week. There's still time to sign up, get involved and help raise much-needed fund for community connected to what we love. Click here for the details
