Spring Winds
First In
Happy Monday to you. It's the last Monday of the winter season and it's starting to feel a little like spring already. The cool sou'westerly wind of winter has been replaced by a warmer nor'easterly this morning. Not ideal for surface conditions but the air temp is up and the sea-breeze haze is back. Easy enough to be lured in to the ocean for a paddle or a swim...
I popped over the headland to Freshie for a look this morning; it's semi-protected from these nor'easterlies; we've got a weak windswell on offer, it's fun, surfable but nothing amazing.
There's a bunch going over Freshwater way this week and next. Tonight Salty Brains is back at the Harbord Hotel. Sign up for surf and enviro trivia with funds raised going to Surfers For Climate. Next Monday the Harbord Hotel will be screening Chase That Feeling featuring a Q&A with stars Blake Thorton and Matt Gilso after the showing. Get tickets here - funds raised will go to SurfAid
