Offshore Arvo's

North Steyne Express

It's a bit of a rare event on the east coast but when the wind blows offshore all day and into the twilight hours it's a special occasion. Yesterday the all-day offshore came together with a steady stream of east swell which seems to pulse as tide pushed in and the sun dropped in the west. You know I love the morning hours, but those afternoons....

Today's post is a flip of the usual morning vision with handful of highlights from yesterday arvo.

This morning the wind's got a little more south in it and east swell is on the wane. Soon enough the southerly will kick in at 20knots and there's a roaring south swell due to build overnight and into the weekend. It's already been talked up as a 'mega' swell but let's just wait and see.

For now, enjoy the last of the energy from the east.
