Oh boy, it's a warm and humid start to Tuesday out there. It was mid-twenties at 7am and dragging a camera bag around the sand was sweaty work!

The good news is that it feels like summer as we know it might have finally set in. There's still some lingering smoke hanging over the city but it's mixed in with the humid, salty air that the nor'east trade-winds whip up. That's the kind of misty and haze that we're used to seeing on the beachfront most summer mornings - beats the bushfire smoke any day!

Typical of summer, the nor'east wind swell has been a constant for the last week or so and it's back again this morning. It's not pretty to look at but I'd say it's pretty surfable. Get out there! Any excuse to get in the water right now!
