Seaside
Everyone's flocking to the water this morning to cool the body and rinse off the steamy night and warm start to the day. It didn't drop below 20 degrees all evening and we're on our way to a top of 35˚ in Sydney today. Will it get that hot in Manly? Maybe if the wind swings around to the north-west and blocks the sea-breeze... otherwise I reckon we'll be sitting comfortable under 30 here on the seaside.
The waves are much the same as yesterday. It's a chunky 2-3ft of wind swell with northern corners offering up the best chance of a semi-clean wave. I don't mind these kind of conditions as it keeps your expectations pretty low. I've learnt over the years that low expectations are one of the keys to surfing contentment.
Brooky Surf Club are hosting the Cvrrent Film Festival tonight screening a bunch of short surf films with discussions on all things surfboards and surfing. - More info and tickets here
