Feels like it's been ages since I've walked down the steps on the Freshwater side of the headland. All that east swell tends to sway my focus to Queenscliff south. This morning the McTavish Demo crew were set up on the grass at Freshwater with an array of fine surf craft including the new range of Super Stock boards, stripped back versions of their best sellers with all the performance elements but a little lighter on the bling (and the pocket). While the tide was a little low for a log session but the McTavish mid-length and twin fins found a little green water on the shallow water to cut through. Surfable... but only just. 

Nice day out there now - tomorrow's going to be even better, Yep, a top of 25 and sunshine all day long.
