Today's post is a mixed bag, a bit like the morning itself. I walked out the door thinking the clouds were gather above for an almighty dawn thunderstorm. But the clouds parted, the sun snuck out and rainbows were hoisted into the skyline; it turned into a real nice, sunny morning! Geez, we could do with a bit more sunshine in our lives don't you reckon?

The waves along the North Steyne to Manly stretch were pretty good again today. The westerly has groomed it as clean as it comes and there were still 4footer out of the sou'east. The tide might have been just a touch low for optimal conditions but the odd one was hitting just right. 

Big congrat's to all the surfers, winners, organisers and the wider community for putting on a solid Sydney Surf Pro. Good energy in the water, on the sand and around town. Coming back next year?
