The south swell's kicked up a notch or two overnight. I could hear sets breaking in the dark from my place in the silent, early hours of this morning so I figured it must be pretty solid. The live buoys have the swell up around 3m and a 14 second period; that's a signifigant amount of energy. No wonder the rip at Queenscliff is running way out to sea (take a look at my instagram story for a video)
It's going to be challenging to find somewhere holding up this must energy and direction; it's either reefs or corners and plenty of closeouts inbetween. Good luck out there!
