Grom Town
The grommets were absolutely dominating this morning. Everywhere I looked, a micro grom fuelled up on breakfast cereal was speeding towards a section ready to blast the back out of it. The waves were well suited to the 40kg category surfer, it was 1ft with the odd 2 footer running across a deepish bank to a high-tide shorey. Lucky the wind wasn't the full forecast 20kts or some of these grommets would have blown away.
Today the swell is supposed to build from the south; it'll be 3, maybe 4ft by the afternoon. There's going to be plenty of wind too, but that comes with the territory. Should be something to surf for us adult grommets by lunch time.
Just a reminder that Tuesday's are print days, I'll be sending a batch off to our local print lab tonight so get your orders in! Browse and Order Online - Got questions, email me!
