Sensational morning of light out on the beachfront this morning. At 10 degrees it's pretty fresh at dawn these days but if you can handle the chill, this morning was well worth getting outside. From 6am the sky was showing signs of illuminating into one those special sunrises with tasseled clouds tinting pink and orange before a full light up. I set up my tripod and pretty much shot every image from today's post from the same sandstone block on the wall (except image #1).

If surfing's on the agenda this morning you might be best satiated with a drive north. Surf report says the south swell continues but there was only distant signs of it on our stretch of sand. Wind should be light and a reasonably friendly direction most of the day.
