Morning, how you doing? It's Friday - yew! I can get down with that! It's been a funny week for waves in Manly with barely surfable conditions since last weekend. The stiff nor'easters haven't managed to blow up anything with any real punch to it so it's been a frustrating time for anyone with a board shorter than 8 foot. I haven't surfed since the weekend.

This morning was much the same as every other day this week. We're talking 1 to 1.5ft wind swell, clean faces but barely any push.

There's a southerly change due late on Saturday to give us some relief from these northerlies. It should blow up a decent bit of south swell but we'll have to wait and see what the wind does to see what it delivers.
