If you're in the sub-50kg category and your shortboard dim's begin with a 4, you've got access to a whole other world of waves that are completely unsurfable to the rest of us. This morning, the sub-50 crew were frothy and flaring all over a chunky little shorebreak while everyone else was flapping about on the high-tide banks out the back. The energy of the grommets definitely added some zeal to an otherwise grey morning.

It's 1-2ft with a mix of swell from the ENE and south. I get the feeling it'll have more appeal to rest of us later as the tide drops out.
