Lovely day out there. The sun's shining, the wind's offshore and there's still plenty of energy in the ocean. Low tide and south swell are never much of a combo for the Manly to Queenscliff stretch of sand; I had a quick look at Freshie and it was pretty straight over there too. The thing with ocean though is it always serves up something random.  And sometimes, just sometimes, amongst all the closeouts and straight ones, that random thing is a nice little wave that runs down the bank at just the right pace.
