Cabbage Tree Calm
The only escape from the onshore wind this morning was within the relative calm of Cabbage Tree Bay. How lucky we are to have this beautiful and diverse aquatic reserve on our doorstep. Above the water it's a sheltered bay protected in all but largest nor'east swell while below the surface it's teeming with sea life - so many fish! No wonder hundreds of people swim the Bay on a daily basis.
I stayed above the water this morning, but if the onshore's persist, I may be tempted to take the camera for a swim through Cabbage Tree Bay and see what I can see.
