Solstice
Open
Today marks the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year. Between sunrise and sunset we've got 9 hours and 53 minutes, plus our favourite moments of dawn and dusk. A quick glance outside your window will tell you those hours aren't going to be all blue sky and sunshine. In fact, sunshine will be a rare commodity in Sydney today with clouds and passing showers.
Beyond the sand, Saturday's solid south swell has subsided further and it'll start gaining more east to the direction as the week progresses. Should be some fun waves around until it fades out late in the week.
Better use those daylight hours wisely, there's not many to go around!
