Sou'East
After such a promising start, the week deteriorated into onshore winds and rain squalls. There were some magic moments of waves, especially in the earlier part of the week but the sou-easter has been dominant for the most part and taken the shine off a run of consistent strong east swell.
Today, the sun's been out most of the morning but the onshore sou-easterly wind is still present messing up ocean conditions. It's a hard wind to hide from, even the South End is looking messy. Still, the water's warm and there's plenty of reasons to be out on the sand.
