Blew It
Strolling in Spring Sunshine
Ok. Yep, yesterday I blew it.
As soon as I hit send on my pessimistic post Grim the sun emerged from behind the clouds, the wind dropped and the waves got all semi-clean and super fun. If you happened to dodge the rain and onshore wind at first light then, by all accounts yesterday was a good day of surfing.
This morning could be a similar story without the showers. When I swam out at 6am the nor-est wind had already whipped up a little surface chop and I'd call it surfable at best. By 8am it was starting to look a little better. So, from here it could go either way...
Couple of things:
The crew at Volcom are about to kick open the door on their Warehouse Sale. First in best dressed!
The kid's are striking today at 12noon to demand a cleaner a future. Join them!
Sunday looks like our best window for waves across the weekend. NE swell and a brief offshore change. Better keep an eye on the flags and time it right.
