Wild Light
Winter's here. It's a day late but the rain has rolled in and it's a chilly 8.9 degrees at 10am this morning! No wonder my fingers are cold hitting the keyboard. Yep, we're in winter!
Sunrise coincided with a thick band of rain cloud creeping in from the south this morning. The collision of light and dark made for a brief moment of wild light! We had glowing dark pinks and thick double rainbows... that was until the sun was stubbed out the light completely and the cold rain had us bolting for cover.
If you're looking for a wave today you'll have to look elsewhere. Manly was a lake at first light. Maybe there'll be a little energy slipping into the more south-facing beaches. There's a solid swell building...
Happy Winter to you!
