It's turned into a cracker of a morning out there for the first Friday of Feb. From cloudy beginnings, the sun popped out at 6:30 and it's been shining brightly ever since.

The waves seemed to have taken their cue from the sun and they're on the improve as well, albeit from a fairly low base. It's only 1 to maybe 2 foot and if you can find the right bend of sand there is the odd little runner. But, if you keep your expectations low enough you might have them exceeded. Otherwise, just opt for a swim, you won't be disappointed. 

Bit of a bump in south swell tomorrow and warm weather for the weekend and beyond. Have a good one.
