Bit of a rainy kind of morning out there today. My initial journey out the door was a brief one; the passing showers didn't pass and forced me home to suit up and take the camera for a swim. Well worth getting wet for! There's some fun waves about with a little 1 to 2ft NE swell lightly ruffled by the southerly. Right now the wind is more a light sou'wester than the full-blown southerly that was forecast.

SurFebruary is on this month and it's not too late to get involved. All you have to do is sign yourself or a team up and pledge to surf everyday this month while raising awareness and funds. SurFebruary is a grasroots fundraising effort by surfers for the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse, a hospital solely dedicated to treating and researching cancer through and a holistic range of therapies.
