Waves are down but the sun's up this morning. Oh, these long summer mornings of light winds and warm sunshine are something to revere! You can stroll out the door barefoot with a towel over your shoulder and spend an hour in the sunshine and sea before the thought of work even creeps into your mind. It's a salubrious time of the year.

Waves were a rare commodity this morning and it might be that way for the next couple of days. Don't let that stop you getting in the water though, the water's 20-21 degrees and just about perfect for a dip. Wax up the log or embrace the simple joy of swimming.
