Yesterday was all-time classic summer. Warm humid morning, hot sunny day and then an absolute firecracker of a storm late afternoon. I was having a swim harbourside as the first shelf cloud passed over and it was as though someone stitched off the lights... and then the wind blew; and then the anvil crawler lightning lit up the sky. What a show! I got caught out in the storm so I don't have any pictures but there's plenty getting around on the social feeds. Got to love those summer days!

This morning it's back to normal programming. Cooler southerly wind, leftover nor'east wind swell and some fun-ish little waves out of the wind. Again, a classic summer day post-southerly change. I'm starting to find my summer groove already.
