How You Doing?
How you doing out there? Who'd have thought we'd still be in this situation when the two week lockdown was announced five weeks ago? I guess the small consolation is at least we have certainty where we're going to be for the next four weeks. I'm back on my COVID hobby program; baking bread, trail running and generally trying to get life/home sorted. There's some positives somewhere in the grey of all this slowdown - just takes some time to see them sometimes.
This morning's sunrise was mellow and yellow turning the Tasman a shimmering platinum peach. It was just the sunrise we needed this Monday morning. If surfing's on your agenda or the kids PE schedule, there's just enough swell to nudge a surfboard shoreward. Pack as much foam as you've got.
Next month is SurfAid's is launching the Make A Wave campaign and it's not limited to surfers. If you love the ocean and what it add to your life, sign up and commit to surf, swim, paddle or even wade for 30 days in September and let the ripples spread far across the oceans. Keen to join a team? Let me know...
Take care
