Spring in the Air
On Ramp
Morning! We've got a light drizzle falling outside on this Spring Monday in Sydney. The rain's a welcome change, especially after a hazard reduction burn jumped containments and flared up late on Saturday afternoon. The tip of the North Head sanctuary copped a bit of damage, including my favourite trail run across the hanging swamp up there. Hopefully the animals that call that part of the world home founds some refuge from the flames.
This morning 's pictures come from a helicopter flight a couple a weeks back when the weather was just about perfect for this time of the year. It was a busy morning with heaps of swimmers filling the pools and bays, a pod of four whales breaching off South Head, clean waves and clear water - great morning to be shooting from the air! A bunch of these images are now available in the Recently Added Gallery. Take a Browse.
This week ahead isn't looking amazing for surfers; small waves and onshore winds are on the cards. Could be a good one to sharpen the focus back on some work.
