Smoker
Sydney is under a blanket of smoke this morning and it's expected to hang around until a southerly buster blows through late this afternoon. While the smoke might be making for some beautiful defused light at sunrise and sunset and the light winds are favourable for surfing it's a stark reminder of the fires currently burning, the life and property that's already been lost and the danger of the bushfire season ahead. I don't know about you but I'm feeling the smoke in my eyes and in the back of my through this morning...
If you feel like a paddle and don't mind a bit of smoke there's some fun waves out there this morning. The nor'easter has blown up a little wind swell for us and the winds should be light and offshore for a good chunk of the day. Get underwater, it's the only place that's smoke-free right now!
