We've had a shift in weather this morning. Gone is the light summer sea breeze and warm air; this morning the air has a different feel, the energy in the ocean is rising and the clouds are racing overhead fuelled by 20 knots of southerly wind. Kind of feels like early winter...
While summer's not typically south swell season there's a deep low passing under Tasmanian generating a significant south swell which we'll start to see later today. There wasn't much swell at first light this morning. But, this time tomorrow it should be double overhead and in full effect with waves til the weekend. Should be plenty to surf if you're up for it...
