Furnace

Dawn Dips

The Indian Summer furnace rolls on. Yesterday was a scorcher and today's we're marching up to 30 degrees again. Good thing we've got the ocean and the world's most beautiful harbour on our doorstep; it's an easy escape from the dry heat; all you have to do is dive on in and relief is swift and sweet.

The waves have been pretty good the last couple of day, it's been user friendly with waves for all with good banks the whole length of Manly and beyond. This morning the swell is hanging in there although it's running out of puff. There was enough for the longboarders on the high-tide although anything shorter than 7ft might have been a struggle.

Our friends at ProjectBlank are giving Sprout readers a $50 voucher on purchases over $200. If you're looking for quality surf staples such as boardies, swimmers and wetsuits they've got you covered. I'm a big fan of the Staple Boardshort and it's super simple design. Have a browse and enter SPROUTDAILY50 at the checkout.

Cracker of a weekend ahead - see you out there!
