Six Fifty Nine
Morning! It's another clean, crisp day out there with the plenty of winter sun streaming onto the beaches, once it eventually made it above the horizon that is. Today's sunrise was one of the latest of the year, 6:59am to be precise. Not sure if it's the late sunrise, the cooler morning air or a combo of both but crowds at this time of the year are at their mellowest.
This morning the waves are small and surfable, much like every morning this week. According to the charts there's two swell of about equal size and power on the Tasman right now; 0.4m from the SSE and 0.3m from the ENE. Nothing to get too excited about just now but your favourite little bank might have a wave at some stage.
