Shallow Walk Out

Shallow Walk Out

Another morning of mixed fortunes out there today. There's waves, even the hint of a light offshore breeze but you had to be really skilled, really fortunate or a combination of both to find anything surfable out there. I found myself ducking a dodging some of the heaviest 3 foot x 3 foot gritty sand monsters on a waist-deep shallow sandbank. One particular beast gave me a genuine fright - reckon I was inches from a heavy impact and full slam!

Low tide was at 6:40am... might be worth checking in again once the tide's filled in a bit. There's no shortage of energy and definitely no shortage of sand!
