We had a little bit of sneaky colour at dawn this morning. It didn't last long, but at least it broke the cloudy, overcast deadlock we've been in this week and it's planted a little hope for some sun later in the day. We're in for another warm and humid day with the chance of a thunderstorm late in the afternoon. The best cure for this humidity is a dunk in the drink. I'd say pick your favourite body of water and get full submerged.

The waves have settled a touch overnight but there's still a rawness to the swell. There's plenty of energy and fun to be had if you don't mind a wobble or two. It's worth chancing your arm, you'll probably come out on top.

COVID has reared it's ugly head on the Northern Beaches once again with a couple of locally acquired cases overnight. Yikes! Let's get back to safe practices, get tested and stay home if you have any symptoms! We have to put thing thing to bed quick!
