It's pretty grim out there this morning. The wind's onshore, it's grey and overcast with a light misty rain keeping visibility to a minimum. While this swell has definitely had the odd moment between wind squalls and rain, there wasn't a much on offer out there this morning. Still, if the rough and tumble of a bit of raw ocean energy excites you, there's plenty to tap into.

Earlier in the week I was mildly excited about the prospect of a switch to offshore on Thursday. While the wind is supposed to ease somewhat it's still forecast to be northerly tomorrow with a slight westerly angle on Friday morning; let's hope that'll iron out all the lumps. Until then, chase those glassy windows.
