Surf Noir
We're one week out from the Winter Solstice and entering the darkest weeks of the year. We're going to loose another minute between now and the 21 of June before the day's get longer and the earth's tilt begins to works in our favour once again. It was dark out there and this morning had a especially nior feel about it with heavy clouds and just the odd moment of light.
This morning it was the loggers and the grommets with the logs working the outside bank and the grommets picking up any leftovers on the inside. It's only 1 to maybe 2ft on the rare sets; small but still kind of fun.
The week ahead is looking small with the chance of a morning or two of smallish east swell before some solid south swell potential over the weekend.
Enjoy the dark - might see you about and about tomorrow.
