What a weekend of waves! Saturday started out picturesque but quickly built to seriously challenging while Sunday was one for the record books. All day offshore, solid, energetic east swell and sandbanks serving up hollow waves on all tides. I can't remember a day of such quality on this stretch of sand since maybe Anzac Day 2009 (??).

This morning the swell's on the decline but conditions are picture perfect. It's offshore, sunny and clean with the odd 4 foot tube still to be found. If you've got anything left in your arms it's worth a paddle.
